Therapy For Therapists

Sad on Couch

We can be our own biggest blindspots

As a therapist, you dedicate your career to supporting others through their challenges and guiding them towards healing and growth. We recognize the unique pressures and responsibilities you face in your professional and personal life. Our specialized therapy services are designed specifically to meet the needs of therapists, providing a supportive and confidential environment where you can focus on your own well-being.

Challenges

Therapists may often find themselves struggling with setting boundaries, burn out, expectations and pressures, rationalizing, work/life balance

"What would you tell your client?"

This question can be frustrating when you are finally focusing on yourself. You can be a great therapist, but you also might not specialize in what you need. Knowledge and application are not one in the same. You are allowed to need guidance and support.

Accountability

Therapists show up for everyone through encouragement, validation, and empathy. You deserve someone to do the same for you and support you on your needs and goals.

Myth: "You should know this"

Therapists are often told that they should have the tools and skills, they shouldn't struggle, or they should know better. You do not need to have all the answers. You are human, and you deserve the same space as others.

Therapy is not supervision

Therapy is not supervision, but your job can still impact you. It can be triggering, frustrating, stressful, draining, consuming. It can impact your relationships, health, lifestyle. You deserve a space to discuss and release this, with someone who understands, while also focusing on your well-being.

Countertransference and Perspective

A lot may get brought up with your own clients that you may relate to. Therapy can help to process any stressors/trauma. Being in the role of a client can create greater empathy, understanding, and compassion for your clients.
